Karin Paparelli

Karin Paparelli is a  performing songwriter, songwriting instructor, mentor, author and artist manager who resides just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. She teaches songwriting at workshops all over the USA and abroad using her clever, “Monkey Manual for Songwriters” and writes for Fell Off the Truck Music/Nashville.  She also manages breakthrough country artist Lexi Larsen and 2010 Best New Artist (Christian Music Hall of Fame Visionary Awards) CCM recording artist Nate Jackson.

Her Roots:

Karin was raised in a musical family. Her mother was a classically trained pianist and her late father worked as an engineer for WHN radio in NYC, the only big country station in the NYC metropolitan area. As a child, she learned to play a little piano, and began to write her own music. She also enjoyed the privilege of accompanying her father to the radio station for the rare treat of meeting radio personalities and country stars. All of this helped to fan the flame of musical expression for Karin.

It was years before she “found her own voice” a unique kind of country rock. Her influences have been a combination of pop, rock and country including Elton John, Billy Joel, John Mellencamp, Bruce Springsteen, Kenny Rogers, Olivia Newton John,  Amy Grant, Dolly Parton, and Linda Ronstadt.

Live Performances:

A middle child who loves to perform, Karin has always been quite comfortable in the spotlight and has performed before audiences both large and small – from community festivals and church events to Jones Beach Boardwalk and Riker’s Island Prison. In Nashville, she can be found playing writer’s nights around town and performing at local venues. But you’ll have to catch her when you can – this girl has wings and she knows how to use them as her desire to affect lives through music continues to catapult her around the world.

Just For Fun:

Anyone who knows Karin, knows she plays as hard as she works. She enjoys spending time with her horses on her Tennessee farm, camping and the great outdoors, escaping to the Florida Keys, quilting on cold winter days and hanging out with her family and friends. She is living proof that when you “LOVE LIFE, IT’LL LOVE YOU BACK” – try it sometime.
