Frothy Monkey – December 06 – Nashville, TN

Bill Dee, Billy Burnette and Karin after the show.

Monkey-in-a-Round Nashville,TN

Each month on the third Friday Karin and Bill DiLuigi host a writer's
night at the Frothy Monkey on 12th Ave South in Nashville. This has been an awesome time to hear from some of Nashville's
most talented writers and artists…it has also been an opportunity to raise awareness of the plight of many who
sadly go to bed hungry every night.

When Karin traveled to Kenya with her son Michael in the Spring of 2006,
she met with local churches who are trying to build a home and school for more than 200 orphans….after her visit
she promised to help in any way she could.

Together they decided to offer hand made African crafts for a modest
donation to raise the necessary funds to build the home and feed the children. Karin and Bill have decided to offer
these fine crafts and display photos of these precious children every month – won't you come out and support
this effort….for what we do unto the least, we do unto the Lord!

Saying Goodbye – a tribute to Gospel recording artist Donald Hatcher

DC Hatcher and Holyfamily

Karin spent last week in New York attending the memorial services of gifted Gospel artist and friend
Donald Hatcher who was taken suddenly Friday July 27 the result of a massive heart attack. Donald, sometimes referred
to as the “Quincy Jones of Gospel”, was a celebrated songwriter, pianist, vocalist and arranger/producer.

Karin and Donald met more than 10 years ago when he asked her to perform with him in a Christmas
service at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Roosevelt, New York. They went on to become close friends, recording an eclectic
Gospel Album together entitled Crimson Red and performing together across the New York Metro area.

Donald (center) is pictured above with his gosepl music group Holyfamily. Donald, the founder of
the group, was joined by musicians Ron Jennings on bass, Lee Brown and Andy White on guitar, Bobby Mosley on drums
and vocalists Bernadine Peterson, Angela Nash, Patricia Jennings, Tawana Brown, Jo Ann Wilson, Carolyn Harding, Rebecca
Simmons and Yolande Brown. This is the second loss of a band member as Angela Nash was tragically killed not long
in an automobile accident just outside of New York City.

However the music lives on . . . Donald was in the studio recently working on his latest project
which is being completed posthumously and the CDs "Surrender" and "Crimson Red" are both available
for purchase through CDBaby.

While in New York, Karin penned a new song in honor of her dear friend which is presently in production
at Lamp Post Studio – the studio that she and Donald used so often. She will add her vocals to that of Holyfamily
and present the finished recording to Donald's family as a living memorial.

Donald is surived by his wife of 19 years Jeannnie, his son Andrew 17, and his daughter Rachel
9, as well as many extended family, friends and the music community on Long Island and around the world – truly our
loss is heaven's gain.

August 18 at the Frothy Monkey – Nashville, TN

neighborhood. Come on over and hear some of the best singer/songwriters Nashville can boast.

I Am Ready – Latest Review

"If I were to assign this album to a genre it would be progressive
country gospel. It has a fresh sound and Karin does an excellent job delivering the songs with conviction. The first
cut, “I Know What God Looks Like”, is a powerful song that will make you put your thinking cap on. I
also especially liked “You”, and the title cut “I Am Ready”. With 13 cuts on this project,
Karin displays a wide vocal range and the ability to create varied moods in her songs. Most of the songs are soft
and tender while others are delivered matter of fact and with an edge to them. If you are the slightest bit a country
gospel fan, this is an album you don’t want to miss out on."

in two villages in preparation for building an orphanage and school. She also spent time with good friends David
and Jane Karanja and met with their soon-to-be adopted son Victor. Karin and her husband Tony are the parents of
five children, two of whom are adopted. They work for the cause of orphans here in the states as well as in Africa,

Japan?

Karin met with Tokyo producer and radio promoter Tom Kawai of Lonestar Production as he was in
Nashville on business. The two spoke of promoting her new CD I am Ready as well as the possibility of arranging
a concert tour in Japan. Karin was thrilled by the idea of performing in Japan – the land of her birth! If all goes
well she may be touring as early as December 06. She is currently looking for concert sponsorship and underwriting
of her travel expenses. All concert and CD profits will be used to help expand the kingdom of God around the world
and build an orphanage in Kenya.

The Commodore, Nashville – March 14, 2006

Nathan Lee Jackson, Bill Dee and Karin kick off the evening at
Debbie Champion's writer's show playing some of their latest tunes.

The trio caught up afterward and celebrated Bill's latest gospel cut, and Nathan's successful
recording session with acclaimed producer – Jeff Glixman (Kansas, Black Sabbath). They were also joined by fellow
writers Bill Warrington, Scott McDowell and Scott's brand new daughter.
This was Karin's last performance before her upcoming trip to Kenya where she will be performing for orphans
in several rural villages helping to raise money for a much needed orphanage and school. Once again Kudos to Debbie
for putting a great show together!

Off to Africa!

Reverend David Karanja with orphans in rural western Kenya.

Tennessee may be hot, but not as hot as Africa which is where Karin is headed for four weeks this Spring as she
travels to Kenya with her 13 year old son Michael. She has been invited to share her music to help raise hope and
support for some of Africa's destitute orphans. While in Kenya, Karin will be hosted by a Kenyan family where
she will have the awesome opportunity to experience African hospitality.

But before she goes, catch her in March around Nashville as she performs her emotional single "One Life" in
tribute to Africa's homeless children – or better yet purchase her new inspirational country CD I Am Ready which
includes this song plus 11 more great tunes. All proceeds from this CD are being donated to her work among the orphans
in Africa. Just go to the music page to hear a sample and purchase your copy online.

If you are interested in supporting this work please contact Karin today. All donations are tax deductible to the
full extent allowed by law.

The Commodore, Nashville – February 16, 2006

It was a late night with gusty winds blowing and rumors of a tornado watch, but the show went on – albeit a little
late. As usual the Commodore was packed with some incredible Nashville talent. Karin enjoyed some good times with
fellow songwriters, Nathan Lee Jackson, Bill Dee, Bud Tower, Susie Hughes and Andy Ellis while waiting for her round.
At 11:15 Karin shared a few songs with Bill Dee backing her up on his guitar. And when her set finished, he and Nathan
shared a round. All in all it was a wonderful night – Thanks Debbie Champion for all you do!

The Commodore, Nashville – January 4, 2006
